So, more updates without any art, sorry!
Ben and I have started the super-ambitious project of fixing up my dad's house for staging/selling. To make a house look nice when it's being shown to buyers, that's called "staging". How do I know this? Because I watch a RIDICULOUS amount of HGTV. So, we've been repainting the inside walls (a less nasty color that isn't peach, gah!) and the outside bits that needed it, as well as a bit of landscaping- all out of my pocket because I'm the best daughter ever. (He's going to pay me back for the supplies, but he's getting the labor like DIRT cheap, no pun intended.) We're hoping this does it, since Saint Joseph really screwed the pooch on this one.
Also, I drew a one-armed boy yesterday saying "oh SNAP". I think it reminds me of Josh. Also, my cat is no longer smelly. What? You didn't know I got a cat? Well, I did. Ben and I adopted him and week and a half ago and he is beau-ti-ful. But fat. Nearly 20 pounds. He has a giant pooch as an underbelly.
Other than that (unfortunately) there is nothing to report. Perhaps soon!

updates on your updates
Since leaving Ringling, the interwebs have been few and far between. We sneak into Panera to steal their wifi because my house no longer has an internet or phone connection. It's been so bad, Ben and I got blackberry's just so we could check our email.
It looks like I won't have any significant updates until I have a job/house/thinger, so ...yeah.
I did get the sewing machine though, and I'm currently working on making a patterned cat. He's going to be big, about the size of my crammedorganisms plushies. Hopefully I can get some things into my etsy soon, too.
Oh yeah, and Iron Man was everything we hoped it would be and more. (Can you say Sam Jackson as Nick Fury? Hell yes.)

sensual seduction
So, I think some 'hooray's are in order for myself and the rest of the Ringling College class of 2008 (or 3008, depending on your level of in-toxicity.) Tomorrow is GRADUATION DAY for us, and I am beyond excited. I'm probably going to trip or something crossing the stage, or go the wrong way exiting like I did in high school... but oh well, I EARNED THAT DAMN TASSEL, DAMNIT. I'm hoping the diploma that pops up in my mail in a few weeks as honors on it- I have worked my butt off this semester to earn that piece of paper.
Last night was the cruise, and the night before the Senior buffet- both were good. The boat was loud, but oddly relaxing. The buffet was silly and fun. Oh, and I'll post some pictures from my portfolio show sometime soon, they're all on Ben's computer right now.
In other news, I'm spending some of my graduation presents (monies!) on a digital sewing machine. My dad and grandmother thought it was a great idea, so I can really start to expand my etsy store with some better quality plush creatures. I am very excited to finally upgrade- I can finally do some embroidery stuff, too!
Oh yes, and tonight we're seeing IRON MAN, so that's gonna be pretty much amazing. We're all going as a group... it'll be a nice ending to Ringling-time, hanging out with the people I've had some of the best times of my life with. Plus, Robert Downey, Jr. <3<3<3
