Updated the old bloggity blog. I wanted it to match my Twitter, and sort of be this cohesive thing, because my etsy store just has it's own vibe. So, like it? Hate it? Dislike how I change it every couple months because I become bored? No worries on the last one, I dig this, so I'll probably keep it for awhile.

In other news, I have a indie craft show this SUNDAY, May 15th, in Long Beach. If you're around, you should come say hi. I'll be at Booth 83, nearish the middle, because I'm awesome. There will be monsters! Among other awesome things! Come, be merry!

QUEEN BEEEEEEEEE

So, here's those pictures I promised! These are some terrariums I've built (exclusively) for the Queen Bee Boutique. They won't be available in my store, only at shows, because they're super fragile and would get all shaken up in the shipping process.

I'll be at Booth 4014, near some delicious fud vendors, so come see me! I'm sharing with Senor Parpan, so Goblin-Fish Press prints, books, etc will also be in the near vicinity!

I'll have owls, super limited mini owls (ooohhh aahhhh), felt food, custom dolls, and even a Deer Girl or two! Fun should be had by all!

Been inspired to work on some new plush designs, and thus, some new products. To avoid getting bored, I've decided to develop some different things. This is a stationary test I worked on this weekend- might have it shaped up in time for craft shows later this year.

It's super simple right now, but any thoughts?

altered books

That's Sasha, our teacher, and Kay, another student. I was the youngest person there by at least a decade. Le sigh.

I iz making da bookz!

I took a sweet class at the Urban Craft Center a weekend or two ago, and it was awesome. I'm using the book as a sketchbook/altered book now, so I'll post pictures of it soon. I altered A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. It's a super weird book, but it seemed perfect for the project.

Just got the super awesome news yesterday that Justin & I were approved for the June 6th Handmade Brigade of Orange County show in Cerritos. We'll be selling lots of awesome stuff like prints, puzzles, books, magnets and (of course) lots of PLUSH! So make sure you come out and support your two favorite people in the world! Or stop by to stay hi and celebrate indie craft month. :) It's 10AM-4PM.

This guy was scooped up by a super lovely lady in New Mexico just a few short hours after I listed him! Crazy!
